Denise Hancock BSc (Hons) MCSP
Denise Hancock BSc (Hons) MCSPGraduating from The University of Hertfordshire, in 2000, with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy, Denise has worked in the NHS for over 10 years. She has practiced in the Home Counties and North West London and has specialised in Neurology and Rehabilitation since 2005.
Denise has extensive experience treating adults with complex neurological disability, as well as providing rehabilitation following trauma, surgery and age related conditions. She has worked alongside consultants in Spasticity and Multidisciplinary Clinics, as well as working at The National Spinal Injury Centre at Stoke Mandeville. Currently, Denise works part time for the NHS, where she is involved in highly specialised assessments, treatments and management of complex neurological and long term conditions. Denise is registered with The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and The Healthcare Professions Council (HcPC), along with being an active member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN). She has successfully completed the three week Bobath Course and attended a broad variety of other training relevant to adult neurology and rehabilitation. In her spare time, Denise enjoys skiing, gardening and cycling, as well as spending time with her family. |
